GlaStar and Sportsman Insurance
The GlaStar and Sportsman Insurance is providing very competitive quotes on all levels of insurance. The following coverage’s are available for a GlaStar or Sportsman aircraft or building project:
- Builder’s risk coverage is for the project located at your home or airport. This insurance covers liability (if required) and hull coverage as the value increases through the building process.
- Completed aircraft coverage can be purchased as:
- Liability only
- Liability and Hull coverage GNIM (ground not-in-motion)
- Liability and Hull coverage G&T (ground and taxi)
- Liability and Hull coverage G&F (ground and flight).
The buyer has the option of bodily injury and property damage liability of $500,000 per occurrence or $1,000,000 per occurrence. Both levels have a sub-limit of $100,000 per passenger NOT per person. Per passenger sub-limits do not limit anyone that is not a passenger. Family members are treated as a passenger with the same limits as non-family.
Additionally, first flight is covered for qualified pilots when purchasing ground and flight coverage.
The policy includes or you can can purchase extra coverage’s such: as non-owned liability, non-owned hull coverage, hangar premise liability and Mexican coverage. The aviation insurance industry consists of only nine companies, and SkySmith will shop all the aviation insurance markets for you except Avemco.
